Welcome to our Afterbirth Pilates classes that have been designed for mothers who are more than 6 weeks postpartum after a vaginal birth and 10 - 12 weeks postpartum after a cesarean birth. Whether you are months or years postpartum, you are welcome to join this course. Your body deserves it.

​These classes focus on strengthening the body from the inside out. This practice emphasizes the importance of learning to reconnect to your pelvic floor after giving birth. You will learn to engage the deepest pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, helping to set your core which is essential when picking up and carrying your baby as (s)he grows as well as when performing a range of exercises.
Incontinence after childbirth or surgery is common, but Pilates can help address this by strengthening the pelvic floor muscles, which are closely connected with the bladder and play a crucial role in bladder control.

Afterbirth training is particularly crucial for breastfeeding mothers, as it helps prevent back pain and poor posture that can arise from feeding positions. With small groups of just six participants, you will receive personalized training and feedback. We use a variety of equipment including the Reformer, Tower, Chair, Mat, and small props such as balls and barrels.
Babies are more than welcome to lie beside you on a mat, or alternatively sleep in the pram just outside.​
